This is a really awesome project that should NOT be tried indoors. Yes, it takes some time, but the results are epic. I myself fired at least 4 shots.

What you need:

HCl compound

beaker connected to a plastic tube

big bucket of H2O

any type of metal (preferably magnesium)

cork with hole

sparker with long handle

small plastic bottle

Step 1 pour 100ml of HCl into beaker

Step 2 drop some Mg into HCl, you should be able to see the H bubbles

Step 3 fill the plastic bottle w/ water, hold it upside down in the water bucket

step 4 fill bottle with H

Step 5 slide cork onto sparker

Step 6 insert Hydrogen filled bottle into sparker, the cork should stop air from escaping bottle

Step 7 fire in the hole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Result : My bottle broke
